Headquartered in the Dallas suburb of Flower Mound, Texas, Noteworthy Ministries was founded in 1998 by Wayne Johnson. Noteworthy's first ministry partner was the Gainesville State School, a Texas Youth Commission facility. We continue to serve the young men incarcerated at this facility.

Our ministry continues to grow as we partner with other churches, orphanages and organizations that reach out to youth. We equip them with guitars and needed materials to present the Amazing Grace Bible & Guitar Study to the youth they serve.

We believe the most effective method of ministry for youth in at-risk and disadvantaged environments happens within the context of small group settings. These small groups are led by mature Christians who have firsthand knowledge of the challenges and needs of the community in which they serve. At Noteworthy Ministries, we act as equippers to those who are involved in hands on ministry in their local community. We put our materials in the hands Christian leaders who are working directly with kids.

How We Are Funded
The majority of those we partner with have few financial resources. Therefore, we do not ask for our program cost. However, we do request that when possible our partners assist in funding their program. These resources are then used to provide additional programs for others.
